Nike Cheer

During my time at Savannah College of Art & Design, I was given the assignment to create a business idea to increase the overall image and sales of a company. Thus, I created the a proposition for Nike, one of the leading sports appeal companies in the world, to introduce a cheer uniform line. For starters, the cheer community is already severely under-represented with only 4 leading companies. Of these 4 companies, only 3 are known for uniforms. Therefore, Nike has the potential to expand their uniform collections that they already see for collegiate sports teams, such as The University of Kentucky’s football uniforms.

Additionally, with the recent spike in media coverage for the sport due to the Netflix Cheer docuseries, there is an increase in demand for the sport as well as gear related to it.

The industry, as of 2017, saw roughly 3.8 MILLION athletes in a $2 BILLION industry. The uniform industry ALONE makes up an estimated $450 MILLION US Dollars.

I had the absolute pleasure to work with many top-name individuals to come up with this idea!

This is my idea of what a Nike Cheer Uniform Line would look like!
